Atanu Mukherjee is President – Technology Consulting at M.N. Dastur & Company Pvt. Ltd.

Prior to this he was the Chief Architect at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation leading the innovation and technology office. In the US, Atanu has worked at Microsoft in Redmond, USA as their Group Program Manager. He was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Versada Networks, a wireless communications software product company based out of Seattle, WA. He was also with Computer Associates in Islandia, NY as their Engineering Director. Prior to that he was with Digital Equipment Corporation, Boston in various capacities in consulting and engineering as Consultant, Engineering Manager and Technical Director. In his consulting capacity at DEC he worked extensively with the steel and the manufacturing industry.

Atanu holds a joint graduate degree in Engineering and Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s School of Engineering and The MIT Sloan School of Management. He was also a Research Fellow at MIT's Laboratory for Computer Science. He has two patents on file.

Atanu is a Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and in the areas of International Trade and Finance at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. He is also an executive advisor to Wall Street hedge funds on and investment portfolios for the technology sector and sits on the board of several technology firms.
